[inforoots] 1130 Memories

We have an image of a disk that has 1130 COBOL installed, obtained
from the people at the University of Stuttgart who have a running
1130 and hacked the paper tape punch port to get an 8-bit parallel
output with which they can extract disk images. We can run the images
in our 1130 simulator, and as far as we know COBOL is working. If you
want a copy, let me know. We haven't posted it on ibm1130.org yet.

It's an end-user copy, though. The install deck would be nice to get
eventually.

We also don't have any docs for it, do we Norm? I know we tried to
bid on a lot on eBay that included some 1130 COBOL manuals but I
think someone else grabbed them, and didn't respond to requests to
let us scan them. There are a couple of very deep-pocket buyers on
eBay who grab a lot of IBM stuff even 1130 stuff. One is in Japan, I
believe.
