Dear Bill Selmeier,
I am sorry but it seams that I am still not able
to send direct to the list. The following answer was sent
25. november 2006 17.14.56 MET:
Thanks to MichaeL Albaugh for a very informative
answer. (Not a word to much) It seems that many
things are invented before their properties are
fully understood and explored. If I may add a
question I would ask: who then was first
referring to or to practise Self Modifying code - and on which machine?
A short comment concerning Leibniz: I believe his
idea was that two bits could represent all kinds
of logical reasoning because they could be
ascribed higher order logical meaning, while the
modern use of the digits presupposes that they
function as letters which are empty of content.
Would you agree in this difference?
best
But it did not show up in inforoots vol 33 : 6
which I received less than an hour ago and with
the date:27. november 2006 21.01.01 MET
I don't want to disturb you too much, but there
may still be some sort of problem?
best regards
