You caught me with a thinko. It's 100,000,000 Kilowatt Hours
at a a dime a piece for $10M. That number was off by three
orders of magnitude.

100,000,000,000 / 8760 (not 8766 counting leap year) / 500,000
= 22 Watts (not Watt hours) per system which doesn't make sense.
I'll have to go back to the source. Expect another post next

The number of desktop PCs became obvious to the US Federal
government so they passed EnergyStar legislation. They're
overdue to notice the server farms and have an EnergyStar
program for servers.
